eBay sales
I recently found out when you get out bid in an eBay auction whatever your bid was for the item if the vendor or the retailer has more of that particular item in stock they will sell it to you for the last bid you put in. This is a genius strategy simply because it keeps the losing party satisfied even when they have lost the bid. There are no losers on eBay take notes because every business should have a no lose solution for there business.
Cure for a dying market
The r&b music artist 'the weekend' has just released a 3 disc 30 song album as his debut album. It's not a mystery that the music industry has been in shambles for a while so maybe giving the consumer more product for less money will be the key?? Who knows it might just work. As of right now he has a five star rating and is ranked #14 on iTunes.

Bentleys Product pricing
The average price for a brand new Bentley can cost you any from 160k to 275k. The thing that that makes Bentley able to sell a car at a couple hundred grand when the actual cost to manufacture he item is about 10 to 20 percent of the actual cost is your perception of the car. What's amazing is that they spend very little on advertising. Obviously commercials will bring the value down of prestigious vehicles. This is probably because of the target market and what they want from the vehicle. This would be exclusivity and the less people who know about the product the more exclusive. Therefore less views= higher price and of course quality.

Facebook as a marketing tool
The question of when Facebook went public is if it could be used properly as a marketing tool from businesses. For the most part we have seen the big players putting up adds and pages on Facebook but we weren't sure if it worked. This photography company uses Facebook as a tool and they have been getting thousands of likes. So Facebook does work I think it depends on the particular business.

best salesman ever?
Ultimate salesman
It takes a lot to be a good salesperson in class we talked about some things that it takes to succeed in sales. We had brought up Mary Kay and how some people have strong success in this field. I found a gentleman who is part of the legal shield who is a millionaire and has obviously mastered the marketing for this business. He also has a strong belief in what the service he is providing which might be the key to success in sales.

The Heath trend
Fastest growing retailers (class discussions)
During our class discussion we talked about some of the fastest growing retailers and some of the most successful retailers in the market I noticed that some of the most successful retailers were grocery and food retailers. One specific company that caught my attention was Walgreen in Chicago a dual level fresh food facility. Like some of the other companies we talked about like whole foods and trader Joe's i noticed that fresh food is a hot topic in the marketplace. I'm noticing a trend to how consumers are viewing the food products at grocery stores, super centers, markets and even fast food. When asked which one was the best out of McDonald, Wendy's, and Chick-fil-a the class almost unanimously agreed that Chick fil a was the best because of the quality of food. Whole foods is also one of the fastest growing food retailers which is primarily based on fresh and organic foods it let me know that things are changing rapidly on what society accepts as food. There are a couple films that i believe have shifted the demand for higher quality food products.
